What is Emotional Intelligence?

Emotional intelligence is the capacity for effectively recognizing and managing our own emotions and those of others. Emotions have the potential to get in the way of our most important business and personal relationships. Some very intelligent people walk blindly through the realms of human emotion and interaction, stumbling along a path of reason without sensitivity, and mind without heart. According to John Cotter of Harvard Business School, 'because of the furious pace of change in business today, difficult to manage relationships sabotage more business than anything else – it is not a question of strategy that gets us into trouble, it is a question of emotions’.

Formalized Assessment Tools: 360 Analysis

Finding ways to constantly improve performance is a hallmark of highly effective individuals and organizations. Creating opportunities for managers and sales professionals to receive accurate and relevant feedback is crucial to this process. Unfortunately, in a busy organization, people are often feedback starved. Why?

The EI360™ has been uniquely developed to gauge the level of emotional intelligence present within the climate in which the individual and team are working in. This provides you, as the facilitator, and your client a deeper insight into the climate and conditions that reinforce current behavior.
